AIRFLOW MEASUREMENT
This technology measures total pressure and air volume allowing easy commissioning, the limiting of maximum diffuser volumes to meet a building’s design, integration with the building BMS, calculation of HVAC energy consumption per zone and aids troubleshooting of problem zones that are out of temperature control.
RELIEF RING
A relief ring is a product supplied in instances where the particular application of our VAV ceiling diffusers is in a system where the supply air pressure cannot be readily controlled.
OCCUPANCY SENSING
Rickard offers further Energy Savings by shutting down diffusers when a zone is unoccupied. Built in Diffuser and Wall Thermostat Occupancy Sensing integrate directly with the standard MLM Controls.
TIGHT SEALING GASKET
A standard diffuser is not designed to seal completely when fully closed and can waste energy when this is required. A standard diffuser without a tight sealing gasket will supply between 30 and 13% volume flow at 0% control disc position (leakage depends on the diffuser neck size).
