Rickard is proud to introduce the HVAC system controller reimagined. The Rickard Zone controller is a highly configurable AHU controller that seamlessly integrates with the Rickard diffuser network without the time-consuming programming requirement of traditional controllers.

Rickard’s Fan Coil Unit Multi-Zone Controller is more than a traditional FCU controller. As the name suggests, the controller can now be combined with Rickard’s VAV diffusers so that the FCU can handle multiple zones without the need for pressure sensors or dampers. Since the FCU and diffusers are linked through the tried and tested MLM system, the FCU can regulate the fan speed and hence duct pressure from the diffusers average demand.

MLM or Multi-Loop-Modular Controls were born from over 30 years of VAV diffuser experience and Rickard’s vision to enhance the benefits of VAV diffusion. Comfort can be customised for large zones or specific individuals, powerful diffuser management software gives the user complete control over entire buildings diffusers, intelligent energy saving software and hardware enhances energy savings and the modular benefits of VAV diffusion are maximised to allow complete layout flexibility without adding unnecessary cost.

MC or Multi-Loop Controls is a dedicated Master and Slave system that can be easily linked to a buildings BMS and Rickards powerful diffuser management software. Rickard’s ML Controls reduce the cost of a BMS connection by decentralizing the BMS access point. Since a single Master Communications Unit (BACnet) connects up to 60 diffusers, the cost of connection is reduced considerably.
