MLM Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller

The Rickard MLM Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller has been designed to  give the user control over his environment by altering the operational mode of the Fan Coil Controller, adjusting the fan speed, setting the setpoint, displaying the space-temperature and causing the Fan Coil Controller to power off.

The Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller utilises four user control buttons, namely, power, display cycle, increment and decrement. These buttons functions are represented by the symbols on the face adjacent the buttons they are associated with as seen in picture below. The bottom left button is used as a power button, this turns the Fan Coil Controller on or off. The top left button is used to cycle the displays. The right buttons are used to increment/decrement a specific value on the current display. Utilising these buttons while on the Space-temperature display causes the screen to jump to the Setpoint display.

MODES OF OPERATION
The Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller has three major modes of operation, these include:
  1. Off
  2. Automatic control, this allows the fan coil controller to control its valves, heater and fan to reach the setpoint temperature.
  3. Manual Fan Only control, this turns off all temperature control, the fan speed can be set to low, medium or high speed.
DISPLAY
The Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller can indicate three possible displays.
The display cycle button cycles the display though each display and allows adjustment. If the display is left in fan speed or set point display, it will revert to room temperature display automatically.
  1. Room Temperature
A bracketed thermometer indicates temperature display.
The room temperature value is displayed.
  2. Fan Speed Control
A bracketed fan shows fan speed adjustment.
A value of 1-3 or A for Automatic and a corresponding bar graph indicates the fan speed.
  3. Set Point Display
The abbreviation SP indicates setpoint adjustment. The setpoint value is displayed.

TEMPERATURE SENSING ACCURACY
The Fan Coil Unit Wall Controller has a built in sensing port designed to accurately sample room temperature.

NOTE: Consider the effect of a hot or cold wall on the Wall CO2 Comfort & Ventilation Controller sensing accuracy. External conditions can affect internal wall temperatures to such a degree that the Controllers sensing ability is also affected. Mount the Wall Controller on an opposite or adjacent wall if necessary.
