The MCU2 (Master Communication Unit2) serves as a data interface to a maximum of 60 MLM 24 VAV field Diffusers, as well as a gateway to BMS protocols such as BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP and LonWorks.
 
On the field side, the MCU2 features four diffuser data channels, each connected to a field diffuser PSU with a capacity of 15 diffusers each. This enables a total of 60 diffusers connected to a single MCU2 unit. The MCU2 makes it possible to configure master and slave relationships between any of those 60 diffusers i.e. across any of the four channels on that MCU2.
 
The network side consists of industry standard hardware and software interfaces. It also serves as a connection point to the proprietary MLM24 Application software.

HARDWARE FEATURES

  • MCU Reset. Press and hold the BOOT button until ST1 LED starts flashing. Wait for the MCU to reset.
  • Firmware update from SD card. Press and hold the BOOT button until the MCU restarts.
  • Reset MCU to factory default. Press and hold the BOOT button until ST1 LED starts to flash, then press the DEF button.
